About the Doctor
Dr. Jacob H. Utterback was raised in the St. Louis area, attending high school at Chaminade College Preparatory. Dr. Utterback earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic before earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Utterback received two years of clinical experience at the Logan College of Chiropractic Clinic. He then practiced for three years in Creve Coeur, MO as an associate doctor before joining Kirkwood Spine and Rehab. Dr. Utterback is licensed to practice chiropractic in the State of Missouri.
Dr. Utterback has the experience and knowledge to treat people of all ages, from infants to elderly. He utilizes a variety of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Extremity Adjustments, and Soft Tissue Work. He provides safe and effective chiropractic adjustments suited to meet the individualized needs of his patients. The chiropractic adjustments are often supplemented with therapies and rehabilitation, including traction, interferential, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, cryotherapy (ice) and moist heat therapy.
Dr. Utterback welcomes new patients. He also welcomes your questions concerning your health and chiropractic care. He is interested in bringing modern and cost efficient chiropractic care to the Saint Louis metro area.
